Initial Consultation


• Establish what you need from your garden



• Agree your budget



• Clarify the process, services and charges



• Examples of previous work



• Site tour and photos

2nd Visit (Charged at a hourly rate)

• Outline of ideas supported by sketches and pictures



• Quote for Cathy's design work



• Rough indication of project costs



• Site survey (this involves measuring the site, taking soil samples and a compass reading; complex topography may require the use of a surveyor) NB the site survey may take place on a 3rd visit

Contact and estimates from other contractors

• Contractors will quote and invoice separately for their work and may require to make several visits to the site. They will base an estimate on the rough plan from Cathy.
  

Final Garden Design plan

• Agreement gained for the final plan to be drafted
  
• Production of final scaled landscape and planting plans


• Presentation of plans to customer with invoice.
  
  

Construction of new garden

• Customer liaison to agree dates for landscape and planting work
  
• Cathy can carry out liaison between contractors on the customers behalf, and monitor progress during construction and planting.


• Final inspection of completed garden. Photographs. All customers will be supplied with a free "Before and After" photo.

Follow Up

• Cathy can visit the garden at 6 monthly intervals after completion to check all is well.
  
• Cathy can recommend a professional team of lady gardeners who can provide garden maintenance at regular intervals. This would include general lawn care, hedge clipping, weeding and tidying up as well as seasonal pruning and plant care.
